Our Projects

We have partnered with Farmers and organizations in India such as Navdanya & Fertile Ground, in order to provide the knowledge and means to go organic. Whether it's providing a micro-loan, helping develop markets for their products, or providing seeds and spades, we find innovative ways to help them achieve their goals.

Irrigation Pipeline for Naya                 Wathoda

60 farmers formed a cooperative in order to join their small farms, under 2 hectares, and have started the long process of creating the pipeline from a nearby dam and canal to bring water to their parched land on the Deccan plateau. Microfinancing is being provided by Khadi Organics with funds raised by Challenge for Change.

Vermicompost Shed

To convert back to organic methods, the farmers in Naya Wathoda have constructed a shed for vermicomposting. This method removes the need for expensive chemical fertilizers. The funds for this project have been provided by Khadi Organics
